How to Rename multiple files using the built-in
Batch utility
(5.69MB / 4:12min / IDI Pro v4.2.0.6)
Remember you don't want to rename images that are stored in the IDI database,
outside of IDI, unless IDI is open. If IDI is not open and you rename files
through Windows Explorer for example, then IDI will lose track of them.
However, if IDI is open and you rename them outside of IDI, then it will
automatically track the changes.
Using the method explained in the tutorial, if you add the step of storing
the naming rule, you would be able to bring up that naming rule in four places:
1) The Batcher (as explained in tutorial)
2) The IDimager window by applying Ctrl+F2
3) The Downloader
4) The Transfer method of copying image files to other folders (Ctrl+Alt+F4)
